Lifting Operation and Rigging Safety Awareness Training
Overview
Lifting operations — using cranes, hoists, slings and other lifting equipment — carry a high risk of serious injury when loads are poorly planned, rigged or controlled. This awareness programme helps workers and supervisors understand the hazards of lifting and rigging, the importance of planning and equipment checks, and the safe practices that keep people clear of suspended loads. It is an awareness programme and does not replace competency-based operator or signalman certification.
